The purpose of this blog is to provide quotations, almost always without further comment, from many different types of Christian literature, past and present, from the Bible itself to some of the most recent literature available, all for the purpose of glorifying almighty God and lifting up the name of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. An attempt will be made to post one quotation per day. All quotations will reflect the biblical, orthodox, Reformed understanding of Christian theology and practice.
The idea for this blog is not original. There is at least one other blog “out there” that shares this blog’s purpose. However, there is always room for another blog where readers can discover the width, breadth, and depth of Christian writing, past and present.
All quotations from Scripture will be from the English Standard Version (ESV).
