The word “disciple” means, literally, a learner.  A true disciple loves to learn at the feet of Jesus.  And then, he or she gets up, goes out, and gets involved.  A true disciple is not just a hearer, but a doer, as well (see James 1.22).  When we sit at the feet of Jesus, we shall know the truth and we shall be able to do the truth.  Why?  Because He is the truth.
