We please God when we comply with His will.  It was Christ’s meat and drink to do His Father’s will (John 4.34) and so He pleased Him (Matthew 3.17).  A voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased”.  It is the will of God that we should be holy (1 Thessalonians 4.3).  Now, when we are bespangled with holiness, our lives are walking Bibles.  This is according to God’s will, and it pleases Him.
